Read "Do They Really Think Differently' by Marc Prensky, one of the texts
suggested by Graham. It certainly was food for thought poiinting out that
it wasn't much good if we used technology such as the active boards to
produce vamped up versions of old curriculum. Kids today think differently
(their brains are different) because they have been "programmed" by the
digital age. What a challenge for me to be "reprogrammed"!

Marg, I was really pleased to come across your site through Graham Wegner via the Directory of Australian Edubloggers at http://australianedubloggers.pbwiki.com/ I have just started using the ActivBoard and really agree with you about needing to look at the curriculum as well.
First on your re-programming to do list should be learning to hyperlink in blogger. I want to see the articles that you are commenting on.
