Read "Do They Really Think Differently' by Marc Prensky, one of the texts
suggested by Graham. It certainly was food for thought poiinting out that
it wasn't much good if we used technology such as the active boards to
produce vamped up versions of old curriculum. Kids today think differently
(their brains are different) because they have been "programmed" by the
digital age. What a challenge for me to be "reprogrammed"!
